Confidence to help you win your day

Confidence can be something too hard to grasp hold, in a world of social media it can be hard to feel confident in a world of perfect bodies and lives can leaving you feeling inadequate. Self-confidence can come in many ways and we're here to help you make today your own:

1. Posture makes perfect

Scientist determined that slumping can lead to a negative head space, sitting up straight with your shoulders back can help reduce tension in the area, not only that but the confidence stance will, in turn make you look more confident to those around you.

2. Embrace your failure

It is impossible to live without failing at something unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all, in which case you have failed by default. - J. K. Rowling

You're going to fail in your life, you're going to fail more than you succeed and it's going to suck. But a way to keep your confidence up especially in these trying times it's important to realise that your current situation is not your final destination. So accept your failure, learn from it, lick your wounds and then get back up.

3. Stop comparing yourself

In a world where everyone is constantly documenting their lives, it's almost impossible to not compare yourself to the world around you. Really everyone is going through a whole mess of problems that they probably aren't going to broadcast them to everyone. Understand that things don't have to happen in a particularly linear way for you, take pride and your confidence from the fact that one day you're going to be exactly where you need to be.
