Three Ways to Keep Positive
Positivity. It's a simple word right? We all know what it means and we all try to keep a positive attitude in our day to day life. But sometimes it alludes us as we go about our daily lives and while we're working, worrying about bills and other people in our life.
It's time to put positivity at the front of our consciousness and start making our own happiness our priority.
1) Practice positivity
You know what they say, practice makes perfect! Being in a positive mind set can often be difficult especially when it doesn't seem like anything is going right. Practicing positivity can be one of the hardest things you do, visualising a better alternative to the situation you are in and focusing on the good bits of your life whether it comes at five o'clock in the morning or the evening.
2) Make your home positive
Work and social life can often stress you out, especially when you're going through a rough patch. Make your home a positive place to be, a sanctuary away from the stresses of the outside world, calming colours include soft yellow and pastel and soothing scents, the smell of apple and cinnamon has actually been proven to change your whole mood.
3) Will it better next year?
It can be easy to get bogged down in the here and now, whether it's an argument with a friend or a problem at work, you have to look to the future. Having a positive over all goal for a set amount of time can prove your overall mood as you focus towards the future
